Party

Mrs. Hackman's Kindergarten Main Page

Friday October 31, 2004

The classroom party is organized with half the group of families contributing food for the party.  With experience, I have learned that children enjoy nutritious food much more than a lot of sweets.  The menu consists of fruit and dip or vegetables and dip trays, cheese and crackers tray and juice. We still start the day with our traditional circle time activities.

Our Halloween Parade

Visiting our Principal at the office.

Emily G's cousin entertains the class with a magic act.

Then the children have a period of play with the Halloween centres.  The entire school population has a parade of costumes in the afternoon.  The morning children did a parade of costumes through the classrooms.  The other students in the school did not mind this interruption of their learning. Then of course there was lots of eating.
